Founder and President of North Shore Nephrology in Manhasset NY Named VP of Membership
Dr. Simon E. Prince of North Shore Nephrology officially becomes Vice President of Membership of Nassau Physicians Foundation.
The announcement is significant because Dr. Prince will be responsible for all external awareness of the organization. He will be instrumental in forging relationships with local physicians and extending the visibility of NPF. This will be accomplished by bringing together a diverse group of physicians from different specialties and encouraging them to participate in charitable events. |

As the newly-appointed President of the Medical Staff at North Shore University Hospital, Dr. Prince presides over a group of 3,000 physicians, many of whom are potential members of NPF. The Manhasset-based nephrologist brings not only business and financial expertise, but his determination to become more involved in his community and help his fellow Long Islanders make informed decisions about their health.
“Nassau Physicians Foundation is an amazing organization, founded by an amazing individual,” says Dr. Prince. “I am excited to be working with Dr. Bilha Chesner Fish, who is known for donating her time and expertise to the local community and making a difference in the lives of so many people. I am profoundly proud to be a part of NPF and look forward to helping this organization achieve its noble mission.”
Dr. Simon Prince has founded North Shore Nephrology right after completing his fellowship in July of 2002. Currently, his growing practice consists of five board-certified nephrology physicians, specializing in Chronic Kidney Disease and Hypertension. In addition he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NUY, a published author and a frequent guest on popular radio talk shows, including Lite FM, Q104.3, WBLI, and others.
